Regal Ridge is a family breeding program founded by Victoria Genevieve. We raise Miniature and Standard Schnauzers with a focus on health, temperament, ethical home raising, and lifelong support for the families who welcome our puppies.

We are based in the Dallas, Texas area and place puppies with families across the United States. Visits are by appointment only.

We prioritize health-first pairings, champion bloodlines, limited litters, and home-raised puppies — not kennel-only raising. Matching is based on temperament and household fit. After go-home, we remain available for guidance as your companion grows.

No. We specialize in Miniature Schnauzers and Standard Schnauzers only.

Where applicable, AKC registration paperwork or guidance is provided according to our registration policy for that litter and puppy. Details are confirmed at reservation and go-home.

Miniature Schnauzers are a smaller companion size — sturdy, alert, and well suited to many homes and lifestyles. Overall investment: $1,200.

Standard Schnauzers are medium-sized, athletic, and confident working companions. Overall investment: $2,000.

Both share the classic Schnauzer look, intelligence, and loyalty. We help you choose the variety that fits your household, space, and energy level.

Schnauzers are typically intelligent, devoted, and spirited. They are often alert watchdogs who bond closely with their people. With consistent training and socialization, they make outstanding family companions. Each puppy’s temperament is part of how we match homes.

Many Schnauzers thrive in families with children and can live well with other pets when introduced thoughtfully. Success depends on the individual puppy, early socialization, supervision, and training. Tell us about your household on the application so we can match carefully.

They need daily activity and mental stimulation — walks, play, and training. Miniatures often do well with moderate daily exercise; Standards generally need more room to move and structured activity. A bored Schnauzer may invent its own jobs.

Schnauzers have a wiry double coat that sheds less than many breeds, but they are not maintenance-free. Regular brushing and professional grooming (often every 6–8 weeks) keep the coat healthy and the signature look neat. We share grooming guidance at go-home.

With good care, Miniature Schnauzers often live into their teens; Standards commonly live into their double digits as well. Longevity varies by individual health, genetics, nutrition, and veterinary care. Our program emphasizes health-conscious breeding and lifelong owner support.

Colors vary by litter and may include classic Schnauzer colors such as salt-and-pepper, black, and black-and-silver, depending on the pairing. Available puppies on our site list each puppy’s color. Preferences can be noted on your waitlist application, but matching prioritizes temperament and fit.

The waitlist is for families who want to wait for upcoming litters and be kept updated — not for an immediate puppy. After you apply, we review your home and communicate about planned litters, timing, and next steps until a match may be right.

Adoption (reservation) is when you are ready to reserve a specific puppy once matching begins. A reservation fee secures that puppy and is credited toward the overall breed total. A separate Puppy Sale Contract is signed at this stage.

No. Placement is based on thoughtful matching — temperament, household fit, health timing, and availability — not waitlist position alone.

Overall puppy totals:

• Miniature Schnauzer — $1,200
• Standard Schnauzer — $2,000

Waitlist and reservation fees are applied toward these totals — never added on top.

After application review, a $300 waitlist fee may be requested to hold your place in active consideration. It is credited toward your puppy’s overall total when you later reserve a Regal Ridge puppy.

When you reserve a specific puppy, a $600 reservation fee secures that companion and is credited toward the Miniature or Standard total. If you already paid a waitlist fee, that credit stacks as published in our fee process.

Miniature ($1,200): Waitlist $300 → $900 remaining → reservation $600 → about $300 due at go-home.

Standard ($2,000): Waitlist $300 → $1,700 remaining → reservation $600 → about $1,100 due at go-home.

If you go straight to adoption without the waitlist, the $600 reservation still counts toward the same overall breed total.

Waitlist withdrawals before a puppy is reserved are handled case by case in writing. Once a puppy is reserved under a signed Sale Contract, that contract’s deposit and refund terms control. See our documents section for details.

We emphasize health-conscious pairings, structure and temperament, veterinary care for our dogs and puppies, and transparent records at placement. Limited litters allow us to give each puppy careful attention.

Yes. Our puppies are raised in a home environment with early socialization and handling — not as a kennel-only operation — so they begin learning everyday household sounds and routines before go-home.

Yes. Puppies leave with available health records and go-home guidance. We ask new owners to schedule a licensed veterinarian exam within a reasonable period after transfer (commonly within about 72 hours / three business days unless otherwise agreed).

Yes. We believe placement is the beginning of a relationship. Families can reach out for guidance as their Schnauzer grows — training questions, grooming, or life transitions. If you can no longer keep a Regal Ridge dog, contact us so we can help with rehoming options when possible.

Go-home support commonly includes a vet check as applicable, starter food or feeding guidance, health records, lifetime support from our program, AKC paperwork guidance when applicable, and a small welcome item such as a toy. Exact contents are confirmed for each placement.

Puppies go home when they are developmentally ready and health timing allows — typically after appropriate early weeks with their litter and our care routine. Exact timing is shared as the litter progresses.

Placement logistics vary by family location and what is safest for the puppy. Discuss travel, pickup, or approved transport options with us during the reservation process. We prioritize the puppy’s welfare in every arrangement.

Plan a safe space, crate or playpen, food and water bowls, a vet appointment, puppy-safe toys, and a schedule for potty training and rest. We provide guidance tailored to your puppy at go-home. Our blog also shares care tips.
