Puppy Sale Contract
Regal Ridge Schnauzers · Adoption / Reservation Agreement
This Puppy Sale Contract (“Contract”) is entered into between Regal Ridge Schnauzers (“Seller/Breeder”) and the Buyer named below (“Buyer”). This Contract governs reservation and purchase of a specific puppy. The Waitlist Agreement is a separate document and does not transfer ownership.

2. Purchase Price & Fees
- Total purchase price: Miniature $1,200 USD / Standard $2,000 USD (check applicable), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Reservation fee: $600 USD, due upon signing this Contract to reserve the named puppy, and credited toward the total price.
- Any previously paid waitlist fee ($300 USD, if applicable) is also credited toward the total price as published in Breeder’s fee process.
- Remaining balance is due before or at go-home, as agreed in writing.
3. Deposit / Reservation Terms
Upon receipt of the reservation fee and signed Contract, Breeder will hold the puppy for Buyer subject to the puppy’s continued health and suitability. Buyer understands deposits are generally non-refundable except where Breeder cannot fulfill placement of the reserved puppy and no mutually acceptable alternative is offered.
4. Health & Care Representation
Breeder represents that the puppy has been raised with care consistent with Regal Ridge practices and will be transferred with available health records and go-home guidance. Buyer agrees to obtain a licensed veterinarian examination within a reasonable period after transfer (commonly within 72 hours / 3 business days unless otherwise agreed).
5. Buyer Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, humane home with appropriate shelter, nutrition, veterinary care, and training.
- Not resell, transfer, or surrender the puppy to a broker, pet store, or auction.
- Contact Breeder if Buyer can no longer keep the dog so Breeder may assist with rehoming options when possible.
6. Registration
Where applicable, AKC registration paperwork or guidance will be provided according to Breeder’s registration policy for the litter and puppy.
7. Limitation & Governing Terms
This Contract contains the core commercial terms for sale of the identified puppy. Any health guarantee addendum, spay/neuter terms, or limited registration conditions provided in writing and signed by both parties are incorporated by reference. Website copy does not override this signed Contract.
8. Acknowledgement
Buyer acknowledges having had the opportunity to review this Contract, the separate Waitlist Agreement (if applicable), the Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use, and to ask questions before signing.
